Main Street Internship Project
I participated in a professional writing internship that associates with the University of Central Missouri Technical Writing Program and Warrensburg Main Street. My brilliant team included three other technical writing capstone students with our project manager/professor being Dr. Rebecca Miner. In this project, we collaborated with Warrensburg Main Street and the Johnson County Historic Society to present accurate and interesting historical information about Warrensburg Township. This project required us to extensively research and create content. To the right is the project scope. Please click to expand.

NOTE: This is not a final draft of the product. Final verbiage will be placed on physical plaques on the buildings and on a Warrensburg website.
I Can NOT Think, The City is TOO Loud
This is a problem/solution essay I wrote for my Composition II class. I researched how noise pollution was affecting populations, specifically those in urban settings. I also researched current solutions and noise-abatement laws in multiple countries to compare to America's. Please click to expand.
The Enrichment of Texting
This is one of the papers that I wrote for my technical writing course. It evaluates how language has adapted through texting and social media. I propose that texting verbiage is enriching to the ever-growing American English language. Please click to expand.
Analyzing the 2012 Vice-Presidential Debate With Aristotle's Rhetoric
This document is a group-created essay that analyzes the 2012 Vice-Presidential debate using Aristotle's Rhetoric. It was for my Introduction to Communication Theory course. Other students who worked on this document include Cason McNeal and Abram Tabor from the University of Central Missouri.

This is a research essay that I put together for my Senior Capstone Technical Writing course. The point of this document is to compare and find conventions of layout/content design in two sources that we could possibly use in our Main Street project. Please click to expand.
