Project Management Office Analytics/Administration
In my PMO Analyst internship for Ascend Learning, I assist the Analytics Portfolio manager as well as the Business Analyst manager in tasks relating to capital planning and analytic estimates in an Agile environment. I help support team meetings, enter estimation data from the LOEs into Smartsheet for collaborative logging, and much more. I also have experience assisting with administrative tasks such as entering resources into Tempus, as well as other tasks related to team onboarding and success. By working in this environment, I am learning transferable business and platform skills.


Writing
My experience is through a professional writing internship that gives me the ability to perform efficiently in other jobs. The internship involves a group of technical writers from UCM, including myself, working with Warrensburg Main Street. We researched, collaborated, and created content that was tailored to our client. I also have documentation experience through my PMO Analyst intern position. I update and archive old documents, create process documentation for the team, and build and design the Confluence Wiki for the PMO. My other experience comes from college courses such as technical writing and composition.
Computer and Platform Skills
I work with a broad range of platforms through my professional internships and business information courses in college. These platforms include: Confluence, Smartsheet, Tempus, Compass, Canva, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator. I've also taken courses that taught me beginner-level HTML and CSS coding.


Research and Content Creation Skills
My research and content creation skills that I've gained from previous college courses, the professional writing internship, and the PMO Analyst internship allows me to create broad ranges of professional documentation. I also free-write and love to explore different types of writing. I also love to learn new things through my research. Alongside creating documentation, I also have experience with designing websites.
Management and Team Skills
​As a manager for approximately 3 years between Mcdonalds and Sonic Drive-In, I practiced being a better team leader every day. I opened and closed the facility, led the workers through order productions, and dismantled any arising employee or customer issues. I've also learned tons about working in teams through college courses and my internships. My experience enables me to effectively communicate in a group and team setting.
